Here I wrote a quick article about the new Facebook chat interface. Actually it was being rolled out and being
made avilable to all .since a week and I’ve just got mine and according to some live feedbacks I’ve got, it looks crappy
and is not so fast as the old interface as it doesn’t show all the people online but only those with whom you interact the most and some people find this irritating and not that great .we are not able to find people onlne it shows offline people also ..this sometimes can lead to confussion specially on slow connections. So, how to get back the old Facebook chat interface or how to go back to the old Facebook chat? Well i guess most of the people dislike the new
chat interface.I personally scratch my head think that ' what made facebook to implement such feature when there were
already such options in the old chat interface..
Before showing you the solution to this problem to get back the old caht interface, let me explain what the whole problem is all about. As you can see in the pic below, the chat list when minimized shows more number of people than what I can actually see in my list.
As in the ne chat there are actually 34 people online but it will shows just 25 which fits according to the browser size and all the other ones are kept hidden so you have no chance to see who else are online and not.Also the problem is that on slow connections the chat interface has to be reloaded after it is being minimized.
I suggest sweet and short and quick solution to that.
