TRACING IP INFORMATION

Every website is hosted on a
server, which
resolves to a unique IP address.
Network Solutions retains
information for
every public IP (Internet
Protocol) address
that is registered. Public IP
information
includes a listing of the location
of the device
or server using the IP address
and the
contact information for the
company or
individual who purchased and
registered the
IP address. If you have the IP
address of a
website or email server, you
can trace the
IP's information by looking it up
in the
Network Solutions WHOIS
database.

domain name
of the website you want to
trace.

Select "Domain Name" or "IP
Address,"
depending on which
information you
entered, and click "Search."
